Welcome to Good Samaritan! I am so pleased that you are having a look at our website and all that Good Samaritan has to offer the children of the Lumen Christi Pastoral region. I hope that you get a sense of the energy and excitement of the opportunities offered at our school through growth in faith and learning.
Our school motto is ‘Moved to Compassion’ and is based on the biblical story of the Good Samaritan. Two thousand years ago Jesus told a story about a man travelling along a winding road toward Jericho (which is now part of the West Bank of Palestine). The story is one about being a neighbour. It is a story about conflict, abandonment and injury. It is a lesson in leadership, mercy, security and healing. It is these lessons that Good Samaritan Primary School strives to teach to each student throughout the time they spend at the school. Read more About Us here.
Good Samaritan Primary school strives to be an excellent Catholic systemic school of the Wollongong Diocese offering opportunities in faith, learning, culture and sport in order to develop students spiritually, academically and physically. The Good Samaritan saw the potential in all whom he met along the road to Jericho and our school seeks to unlock the potential of all the boys and girls who attend the school. See What We Offer here.
We do this in partnership with a supportive and vibrant parent community where we all understand that together we can lead the students to great outcomes. Read more about our parent community here.
I hope you enjoy browsing our website and that you gain an understanding of the happy, exciting and energising place that is Good Samaritan Catholic Primary School, Fairy Meadow.
